Most parents know the dangers of smoking around their kids and make a great effort to keep their house smoke-free. Many parents smoke outside the house just so their children can breathe clean air. Would you like a tip that can help you not smoke around your kids when you are driving in the car?
It's called the bubble-gum trick. Buy a pack of bubble gum. Next time you are in the car with your kids, pop a piece of gum in your mouth instead of a cigarette. Give your kids a piece too, and enjoy the smiles that bubble gum chewing can bring. Gum chewing keeps your mouth busy as a cigarette usually would. If your kids are too young to chew gum (usually 3 and under) take along a small container of crackers for your child.
Try it a few times and see if you can make your driving smoke free too.
